The Kamikaze is a sick, demented, heavy distortion. It is equally suited to "djent" palm-muted chords and screaming leads, and it has plenty of lows for your down-tuning. It even works quite well on bass at some settings. It's actually two distortions running simultaneously! It features a three-band EQ, and a mix knob for adjusting the ratio of the two distortion circuits. All new EXAR pedals use silent true-bypass switching, and they have 1 Meg input impedance, to bring out all the high-end detail even from passive instruments and long cables. The housing is rugged cast metal, in the same small size as MXR, Keeley, and other compact pedals, plus it has a convenient easy-access battery door.
