Phasing is a classic and versatile effect that fits in almost any genre. It works equally well with guitar or bass. It can add subtle shimmer, or dive into deep psychedelic warping. The "Color" knob controls the regeneration (metallic resonance sound) of the effect; with Color set to minimum, the phasing becomes more like a tremolo. All new EXAR pedals use silent true-bypass switching, and they have 1 Meg input impedance, to bring out all the high-end detail even from passive instruments and long cables. The housing is rugged cast metal, in the same small size as MXR, Keeley, and other compact pedals, plus it has a convenient easy-access battery door.
